Why DeGroote?
After completing my Bachelor of Commerce from DeGroote and having had a fulfilling experience, I immediately knew I wanted to continue my academic journey at DeGroote!
More importantly, coming from an accounting background, I recognized that I wanted to pivot my career to a different industry and field. The co-op option offered at DeGroote was the best option for me as I would be able to gain valuable experience over the course of my MBA!
Why an MBA?
I decided to do an MBA to pivot away from my previous career field of Accounting, and have the opportunity to gain diverse experience through the 3 co-op terms offered, while finding something I can be passionate about! Additionally, the MBA is an amazing way to help expand my network and grow alongside like-minded individuals!
What surprised you about DeGroote?
DeGroote’s student community is unmatched! Everyone has a welcoming demeanor which makes it easy to build valuable friendships and connections with your peers. The MBA is more than just a degree, it becomes a lifestyle that fosters professional growth and strong relationships!
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
