Frequently asked questions

Can the GMAT requirement be waived?

No. Every person who applies to the MBA program must write the GMAT.

Can I start sending in my documentation before completing the online application?

Yes. After you submit the online application we will match it with the documentation you’ve sent. Your file will be assessed once all your required documents have been received. You can check the status of your documents through your Mosaic online application.

What if I don’t meet all the requirements?

Each application is given a thoughtful and thorough review by a member of our recruiting and admissions team. There are minimum requirements which must be met, but we also like to get an idea of your motivations, goals and values. We also look for leadership qualities and community involvement. If I completed my undergraduate program at McMaster do I still have to include my transcript with my application?

Yes. We must receive your official transcript from the registrar’s office. Please make arrangements with the registrar’s office to have your transcript sent directly to us.
