Why an MBA?

I did my undergrad in Visual Communication Design, and after working for five years, I realized I needed to learn the tried and tested method of doing business. DeGroote has assisted me in closing that knowledge gap while providing me with tools to help me grow as a leader and gain more confidence in my strategic management abilities.

What surprised you about DeGroote?

DeGroote is all about the student experience. The way the program pivoted from all virtual to hybrid to fully in-person was very smooth. What amazed me the most was that 91% of our batch was able to secure summer internships, regardless of a tough job market.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

Don’t overthink it! Talk to DeGroote MBA Student Ambassadors and hear our experiences.

What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?

Networking and co-curricular activities. Academics is only one part of the DeGroote MBA program. There have been many club events, employer events, and case competitions throughout, so being a part of all these activities has been my highlight of the MBA program.
