The MBA has been the right opportunity for me because it allowed me to pursue a career in the field I am passionate about. It helped me understand the needs and skills required to pivot my career after working 8 years with start-ups in the food industry. The program has enabled me to unlearn and relearn skills, develop a strong business acumen, and gain a deeper understanding of the dynamic business landscape in a new geographical market.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
While things might feel daunting, especially when you are about to begin your MBA journey, try to immerse yourself in the DeGroote community as much as possible. Speak to as many people as you can, start building your network from the first day, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. One of the best things you have at your disposal is the ability to be as curious as the person next to you who is also beginning a new journey. There are a host of resources available to assist you, so make the most of them!
