Why DeGroote?
After completing my undergraduate degree in Engineering in India and working for about 3 years as a strategy manager and consultant, I knew that I wanted to further my career in the field of data analytics. I wanted to be in a position where I could use leverage data to make informed decisions. However, I was unsure how to reach this goal. The MBA (co-op) program at DeGroote provided me with the perfect curriculum which I can shape as per my requirements along with the 3 co-op terms which provide me with a much-needed exposure to the Canadian market. My decision to come to DeGroote was further validated after seeing the dedication of the staff toward the success of every student.
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
Take the time to think about what you are trying to accomplish from this program but at the same time keep an open mindset. You never know what opportunities lie in front of you. Talk to multiple people to get their perspectives on the program and how it has helped them. And most importantly, start networking early and regularly!
