Why an MBA?
I majored in Psychology back in undergrad and in order to pivot into Finance, I needed an MBA to develop strong business acumen and gain the necessary finance knowledge.
What surprised you about DeGroote?
I was surprised to find how open our DeGroote members and alumni are to sharing their experiences and helping us succeed! I couldn’t have achieved a lot of things without their guidance!
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
Don’t limit yourself with any preconceived idea of what you can and cannot do. Instead, ask yourself, what CAN I do to figure it out? You’ll be surprised at how much you can accomplish!
What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?
Being chosen to lead the MBA Finance Association is definitely one of the highlights of my DeGroote journey so far. Having the opportunity to plan events and think about how we can better help students pivot into Finance means a lot to me!
Aside from being an MBA Student Ambassador, what other extra-curricular activities have you been involved with while at DeGroote?

I love hiking. Back in 2017, I have hiked on Camino de Santiago in Spain and made friends from all over the world. “Buen Camino” to all future DeGroote students!
