Why DeGroote?

DeGroote stood out with its reputation and its closely connected community. The values also resonated with me and the opportunity to meet and work with diverse talents from different backgrounds. The length of the program was also an attraction, it affords me the opportunity to delve deeper over this extended period.

Why an MBA?

With my law background and as someone without a business education, I started desiring a more rounded experience. My career spans procurement, contracting, and, project management, and this highlighted the need for a deeper understanding of business operations and functions.

What surprised you about DeGroote?

What surprised me the most about DeGroote is the opportunity for students to be involved in practical leadership. And the supportive community, everyone is ready to help you succeed.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

Network, be proactive and explore the full MBA experience.

What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?

Learning new skills and expanding my network, your network is your net worth. Another highlight was getting involved in exciting opportunities; with my teams coming first place for our Integrated Project course and third place for the Pitching in for Charity competition. Both activities gave us a great opportunity to provide practical solutions to real business problems.
