I hit a ceiling early on in my career and realized to break it I needed to differentiate myself. An MBA was a great way to do this and the co-op especially gave me the opportunity to try different fields and see what I loved.
Why DeGroote?
Going through the application process I felt like I was being assessed as a person and not just as numbers on a page that checked all the boxes. I also loved the culture and sense of community I felt when I toured the DeGroote building.
Why an MBA?

What surprised you about DeGroote?
How involved I got and just how strong the sense of community is here at DeGroote! If you asked me two years ago where I would be in my career today, I would never have guessed this.
What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?
A better question is what hasn’t been a highlight thus far? I love the people and the experience I’m gaining in this program. But most of all, I’m enjoying learning how capable I’ve become to handle so many tasks and responsibilities and watching myself grow.
