Why an MBA?
With an undergraduate degree in Psychology and professional experience within operations and supply chain, I decided to pursue an MBA to develop leadership skills and bridge my professional experience and formal education. The MBA develops your critical and analytical thinking while fostering a strategic perspective to problem-solving.
What surprised you about DeGroote?
The number of events! The CPD team and student-led clubs organize a diverse range of events, all of which help develop your skills and expand your network.
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
Actively place yourself within those situations that make you feel ‘uncomfortable’; that’s where the learning curve is the steepest.
What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?
The connections I’ve made! With the diverse cohorts and organized networking events, I’ve been lucky to have connected with individuals of different backgrounds, perspectives, and aspirations. My network has expanded exponentially.
