During my undergraduate career, I enjoyed using multidisciplinary approaches to solve scientific problems. I saw the MBA as an opportunity to continue to learn and refine my skills. In addition, I believed that the program would enable me to build a network of mentors and peers, and pivot into leadership roles.

Why DeGroote?

As a graduate with a background in science, the co-op placement that DeGroote offers played a significant role in my decision to attend the school. These placements would enable me to build my business acumen while exploring various disciplines. Additionally, outside of academia, I have always known DeGroote to be a tight-knit community and therefore wanted the opportunity to be a part of and contribute to said community.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

Be open-minded and do not put yourself in a box. This program provides the perfect opportunity to explore new industries and gain new skills. Make the best of it and do not limit yourself.
