An MBA was the right opportunity for me because it would allow me to determine my true passions and reinforce my skillsets. It would give me the opportunity to learn more about myself.

Why DeGroote?

I chose DeGroote because of their amazing focus on community and building meaningful relationships. I first met representatives from DeGroote through a conference during my undergraduate degree and their level of care to my academic and career goals was a highlight. After a few years of check-ins and follow-ups, I knew that when I decided to apply, I would be applying to join a community that embraces the value of connection.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

Apply with intention! Only the luckiest people know exactly what they want to do when they “grow up”, but it’s highly beneficial to put yourself in positions to keep learning and gain opportunities to discover your true passions. Have an idea of where you want to be in the next five years and expect to learn more about yourself along the way – whether you solidify or pivot from your plans, you’ll figure it out!
