I chose DeGroote because of the co-op program, the isolated location, and the employer partnerships. I appreciate how the program is designed where you get an opportunity to apply the previous term’s learnings in the co-op term, build on it, and repeat – allowing us to apply more and more value to the company we work with each time. I appreciate the isolated location because it makes for a more community feeling – it’s nice to see the same friendly faces on the daily! Finally, DeGroote’s CPD team ensures that we are exposed to large companies like Deloitte, Scotiabank, and FedEx. They invite industry experts to help us grow our networks and ensure that we have plenty of employer options to choose from.
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
The MBA student experience and academic advising team are your best friends. I cannot speak any more highly of these teams, do not shy away from them with any concerns or questions you may have.
