Why an MBA?
I see an MBA as a stepping stone to further my career. I wanted to hone and sharpen my leadership abilities to improve my career opportunities.
What surprised you about DeGroote?
The people! There are some exceptionally bright, hardworking students at DeGroote. Most of the instructors I had were amazing and helpful, and the Career and Professional Development Team’s door is always open.
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
Do your research early and set realistic expectations.
What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?
Being selected as the winning team by the client in the integrated capstone project. During the last two weeks of term 2, we acted as consultants and applied our knowledge to help solve a real business problem.
