What surprised you about DeGroote?

I am most surprised by the impressive alumni from DeGroote and DeGroote’s reputation as a top MBA program in Canada, specifically in the healthcare industry. Through many conversations with senior leadership at companies across Canada I have met proud DeGroote alumni. The program’s holds a strong presence in healthcare and it is frequent that McMaster is mentioned as a credible institution that is actively involved in the Canadian healthcare industry.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

If you are looking to excel in your career or pivot into a seemingly unapproachable industry, DeGroote’s MBA program is made for you.

What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?

The highlight of my DeGroote experience has been the people. Members of the faculty are highly knowledgeable, are thought leaders in their particular fields, and are incredible guides through your learning journey. The students have become family and learning from their experiences has been enriching.
