Why DeGroote?
My decision to pursue my MBA at the DeGroote School of Business stems from the opportunity to study at a top business school with the academic and corporate resources to help me build a successful career in the domain of my interest. The co-op component of the MBA program was also crucial to my decision to pursue an MBA at DeGroote. As an individual who wanted to pivot away from the core tech career, the co-ops presented an opportunity for me to explore different domains and discover the industry I am passionate about. Lastly, given my passion for data science, I wanted to pair my business acumen with data science, and the Business Analytics specialization at DeGroote provided me with exactly that combination.
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
My only advice to anyone considering pursuing an MBA at the DeGroote School of Business is to test yourselves and push your potential to the absolute limit. Do not be scared of taking risks or making mistakes, as the MBA is a safe space to try different things. Only through mistakes and your curiosity will you gain the maximum out of your MBA.
