I can totally say with confidence that DeGroote School of Business is the perfect fit for me, and one big reason is the amazing support system from the students and network. Even before I started applying, I reached out to current students and alumni to get their help with the Kira interview. You know what? They were super awesome! They got back to me real quick and sent me tons of useful links and advice to ace that interview. It showed me how tight-knit the DeGroote community is, and I knew right then that I’d always have a support system, both during my time at the school and even after I graduate. No way am I gonna feel alone on this journey!

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

Don’t be afraid to try new things! This is the perfect time to experiment and make mistakes because nobody’s gonna judge you for it. In fact, the professors, staff, and your classmates are all about pushing you to take on challenges and step out of your comfort zone. So, whenever you get the chance, go ahead and strike up a conversation with someone new. Trust me, there’ll be plenty of opportunities for that! It’s amazing how meeting different people can broaden your horizons and teach you so much. Just remember, this is your time to grow and explore, so let go of the fear of failure and embrace the excitement of learning and discovering yourself.
